This Traveler's Notebook is made from undyed, 1.2 mm thick, vegetable-tanned full-grain leather and is entirely hand-stitched. The spine is shaped in the traditional way, with six finely crafted raised bands, harmoniously distributed according to the format. Four elastic bands inside securely hold multiple notebooks or inserts in place.

This cover is crafted from carefully selected, used genuine leather. Unlike new leather, it already brings its own unique story: subtle signs of wear, a naturally developed patina, and individual color nuances make each piece truly one-of-a-kind. These marks are not flaws but rather lend each cover an unmistakable character.

As it is older leather, it requires a little more attention than freshly tanned material. However, with proper care, it will accompany you for many years.

Care instructions

  • Be sure to keep the cover away from water and moisture. Old leather tolerates water much less well than new leather and can become brittle or suffer permanent damage.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, and other strong heat sources. Heat extracts moisture from the leather and can dry it out.
  • Should the leather feel dry or lose its suppleness, sparingly rub it with a high-quality leather grease. Less is more – a thin layer is usually sufficient.
  • Store the cover in a dry place at normal room temperature.

With a little care, the developed patina will be preserved and continue to evolve over time. Thus, your cover not only tells the story of its former life but also writes a new chapter with you every day.

About this leather

Full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather is a natural product of the highest quality. Each hide is as unique in structure, pattern, and feel as the animal it came from. Irregularities such as discoloration, veins, scars, puncture wounds, and the like are natural, intentional, and a testament to the leather's history. They are not defects, but rather what makes the product unique and special.
