This Traveler's Notebook is made from 1.2 mm thick, vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather and entirely hand-stitched. The spine is traditionally crafted with four finely worked raised bands. The cover features four elastic bands inside to securely hold multiple notebooks or inserts in place.

The embossings are entirely handmade using individual stamps that are over a hundred years old. The design consists of 30 separately placed embossings, each individually measured and carefully pressed. The motif is specifically designed for the pocket size. Variations of this design are available upon request as a custom order.

About the collection

The Young Poet, crafted from undyed, vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather, will always remain my favorite collection. Initially, the leather has a very light, almost pale color, which develops into a beautiful golden-brown patina over time and with use. Like a poet who tells stories with their words, the leather, too, will develop a unique history and character through time and use.

About this leather

Full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather is a natural product of the highest quality. Each hide is as unique in structure, pattern, and feel as the animal it came from. Irregularities such as discoloration, veins, scars, puncture wounds, and the like are natural, intentional, and a testament to the leather's history. They are not defects, but rather what makes the product unique and special.
