This Traveler’s Notebook is made from 1.2 mm thick, vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather and is entirely hand-stitched. The spine is traditionally shaped with six finely crafted raised bands. The cover features the hand-stitched standard pockets at the front and back, as well as an additional secretarial pocket. Four elastic bands inside securely hold multiple inserts or notebooks in place.
All embossing is done entirely by hand using individual bookbinding stamps that are over one hundred years old. The design consists of a total of 30 separately placed impressions, each carefully measured and stamped by hand. The motif is specifically designed for the Pocket size. Variations of this design are available as custom orders upon request.
Special Edition Young Poet Antiquaria
The Young Poet, crafted from undyed, vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather, will always remain my favorite collection. Initially, the leather has a very light, almost pale color, which over time and with use develops into a beautiful golden-brown patina. Just as a poet tells stories with words, the leather, through time and use, will develop a unique story and character.
The Antiquaria version draws inspiration from the aesthetics of traditionally bound books.
Its hand-shaped spine, with harmoniously placed raised bands, evokes the look of classic leather-bound volumes and gives the cover a timeless, bibliophilic presence.
